Of course, I think this gorgeous! I am totally taken with your whole approach to decorating ... I could stare at your rooms for hours! :)

I'd love to hear how you live with and use all your beautiful linens you have stacked everywhere. I like the idea that you said your home is very "lived in" - I brought down all my ruffle pillows and pretty blankets to the living room and it really changes the way you live. It's so comfortable and relaxing to be surrounded by them when you're laying around the couch. Thanks for all the beautiful inspirations!

Oh how wonderful to have met her! I've heard about this shop but, for all the times I've been to Sarasota I've never been there...shame on me! My dad and stepmom live in Port Charlotte so next time I'm there I'll have to put this on my must see list:)

Oh Tausha,
You know I've been waiting for this post of yours. You certainly didn't disappoint one little bit! I wish I could have been there with you, Fifi, Lou and Laura too.

That photo of Fifi & Lou is beautiful, perfect in every way!

Love your buffet w/the lovely fabric one atop another, you inspire. I have a sideboard but it's filled with my store items right now, except the top drawer where I keep mementos from my grandma & daughter.

This is a very feel good post of yours ~ thank you!

Happy night,
xoxo

This is such a coincidence. I just spoke with Suzi from Posh on Palm today as I am trying to find places to buy furniture when we buy in Florida. Never heard of it before today, then twice in a day!

Gorgeous cabinet.

I love Rachel Ashwell, and I love you home and your blog. I have to find those darling ruffle pink pillows! Why aren't they online?
Anyway I have a couple questions for you about process and paint color with your tables, especially your outdoor table that your husband made. Do you have an email contact? Thanks, XoXo.

I was in such a tired, cranky pregnant mood today so i pulled myself up out of my rut and went to Barnes and Noble and bought Romantic Pairie Style and it perked me right up! So glad i did. Nice you got to meet her again!

What a fun time you must have had. I've got Fifi's new book but not her signature, that would have been fun to get.

And your buffet is beautiful. I love that style, it's been around for ages, and sure takes well to a coat of white.

Sarasota, omg, i forgot ur a Fl girl aswell. My baby brother is a Sarasota (state)police officer...I visit him every so often, as i only live about 4 hrs away in Jacksonville....he shoulda told me about this, lol.....Ur so lucky to have gotten to see FiFi again. If every i did get to meet her, i would probably faint or worse yet it would end up like a scene from "Waynes World", where Wayne and Garth met Alice Cooper, with me throwing myself on the floor, arms raised and bowing while all the while exclaiming "Im not worthy, Im not worthy, Im not worthy"........LOL...Hope u have a great day lady.......Bonnie

We go to Anna Maria Island every June for vacation and I will be visiting Posh on Palm! There are a lot of great shops here in Central Florida. My list is growing.

I was just wondering... How do you like your brown leather sofa? I think its a nice contrast in your living room so I happen to really like it :) I also like that it had the worn look which suits your shabby chic decor.
But how do you like it? Is it something you recently purchased on purpose to create the look you want or did you create your shabby chic style around your brown leather sofa?
The reason I ask as our decor and homes are ALOT alike :) We both love Rachel and Fifi. And since I have a lot of white, and shabby chic style, I wanted to add a leather sofa or chair for my husband. And Im wondering how you like the leather mixed with shabby style?

Thanks,
Canadian Girl
