It's beautiful, Tausha! You're so lucky to have a friend that will make things for you. My step-dad used to do woodwork items for me, miss him and that wonderful gift he had like your friend, Kyle.

Gorgeous as always, you're an inspiration, friend! Beautiful job, Kyle! Happy day to FL from CA :)

Also after you stain it, sand the top then i put Rub On Poly... everything is done with a rag, no brush

That is a GREAT table. Is he looking for another "friend"? Just askin'....cuz I sure would like a table like that! Everything looks just wonderful! xo Diana

sandy said...

Oh thank you so much for the name of the stain, I was kind of thinking it might be that color and thank you so kindly for the Rub on Poly with a rag, all these little things will help me to achieve the same look. I'm gonna make, I mean ask my hubby to take me to Lowe's soon!

I'm surprised you don't work for a magazine as a photographer!

hugggs!

I have to tell you I am also a HUGE Shabby Chic person. I own lots of Rachel's line from Target. My favorite is that pink soft blanket with the satin trim. I bought a second one for when I wear out the first one. I know by the time it wears out, Target will have put them on clearance or something.
I somehow got that pink one on clearance (king size) for $25! I guess because someone took it out it's packaging?
LOVE their shower curtains too! I have four different styles. I'm assuming you have those crystal shower hooks?
I've just recently found your blog, so I'm just catching up to all you have in your decor.
I'll be reading daily, and as long as you keep blogging!
THANKS

GORG Tausha!!!! Of course, I loved the old table as well...but this one is TDF. I was in Restoration Hardware the other day and was dying over their tables made from old European wood, but of course the price was outrageous. May have to borrow your friend and ship him down to Miami to make me a table:-)
I'm having a blog giveaway...come see

Was wondering if your whole house is the same color throughout? Is it the color you mentioned? Is it called Perfect White?

Thanks!
