Happy Thursday !! The shower curtain is from Anthropologie.. Here are a few photos

i am having work done in my home so i had to move a furniture around for a little while, so i had the chance to take some photos that normally would not be taken. here is my dinning table in the living room, i like!!. sometimes i wish i had one open large room for a house i have always dreamed of having a huge loft where everything is in one room. The way my home is now, is kinda like that... every room is is combined .
My slipcover chair is pink now, i dyed the old slipcoveres i had, first had to bleach them out, then a very light petal pink, perfect with the leather yummy brown sofa
take care everyone, have a lovely weekend !!!!

I also love one open space and dream about living in a loft. You have great style, always enjoy my visits here.I think the real impact of your home would be to walk in and see it all together, that would be fabulous.Do enjoy your summer~Cheers Kim

I love how your slipcovers came out. The perfect shade of pink. I am featuring Annette Tatum's famous pink linen slipcovers right now, there is just something about pale pink slips.

So glad you are back, you sure were missed!! :) By the way, were did you get your blue glasses from? And how did you dye the slipcover? With Rit dye? Thank you!!

Simply Me said...

first it was dark green slip cover i bleached it ,and then used rit dye petal pink, filled washer up with water then added the pink then put covers in with some salt. Very easy ! i wish i would have thought about that sooner. I have two other sofas same style , i may do as well. Maybe white ..Shhhh my secret the glasses are really plastic, i was so happy i found these plastic i have them in glass as well, the glass ones are from Anthropologie and the plastic ones are from Target. Having small ones i love plastic..lol

I have to say, I don't think it matters where you put your furniture in your home; it always looks beautiful, welcoming and oh so comfy. My favorite is that dinning table and chairs.

To all who are interested....... Just went to Bed, Bath and Beyond, they have bedding there by "Vintage Chic". It reminds me of Rachel Ashwell. I'm mixing the two companies in my bedrooms. They definitely compliment each other. Go have a look for yourselves!

Enjoy the Day! :-)

Hi Tausha,

I purchased the Rachel Ashwell blue linen bedding. I would really like the color to be a little more blue. Any ideas on how I could accomplish this?

Thanks, M

I wonder if I can do this with my shutters from Perth. That is a good idea of using that as a design for that room. It is nice that the colors match the table very well.
