In my bonus room ...i had a rug hanging on the wall for the moment , i have now put one of my little clothes rack. for extra fabrics, or linens.

i have 3 clothes racks two little white ones and one large chrome one. I have no closet space ,so this works perfectly!!
in this picture is a little handmade tutu, i purchased from a flea market.
Hope everyone has had a great day!!!

Oh Tausha I think I luv the linen rack more than the old chippy door you were talking about! It adds extra layers of your amazing wonderful fabrics! The tutu is killer cute, my size too I think! ;)

The first thing I noticed was the umbrella also! Isn't it lovely that something like a clothes rack with linens and ruffles can be so beautiful in a room ~
Are these play clothes or pretty pieces you throw about and look at? They're gorgeous.
I still really need to you hop on a plane, come to Nebraska and help me make my home more shabby romantic! :)
Hope you've had a wonderful day!
btw...the roses are now $3 a dozen at walmart! that's crazy...I got 5 dozen!

Love the tutu. Would hang it up, too. I'm so into pink right now.
Your blog has inspired me and my post for tomorrow has a shout to your blog as inspiring me to post my shabby chic.

I would love to sink into your sofa and never leave! I love the sweet clothes rack too, but the chippy door you've spoke of would provide such a good contrast to all the ruffles. I would use it all!

So soft and pretty! I love this idea to use clothing racks (as I don't have many closets either), but my 'stuff' isn't as pretty as yours! :)

I just love your vignettes and stylish rooms. I feel like I"m whisked away across the ocean to Sweden, or Holland, Scandinavia. The white is so pure and soft, and the pinks you add with the soft grays, and pale colors are wonderful.

Gorgeous!

I love the idea of displaying clothes out in the open, but I realized that my clothing style is not at all coherent and soft enough to go with the rest of the house.

Love this!

My wooden lounge chairs are from IKEA i bought them last year, they cost maybe $100 for each, which was the cheapest i could find, they were dark, but i knew they would lighten up in the sun, i wanted light light ones.

On the clothes rack, the white flowers hanging are a project in the making, paper flowers on a hanging mobile, something i'm just working on, I'm adding to it, i will show you the whole thing when i'm done. Really all extra linens are hanging or curtains, that i'm not using at the moment some are my skirts.

Hi there!!! I have two questions...yesterday I went on my hunt to find the duvets you told me you use and found them in the oatmeal and the "blue." The "blue" is actually like a green color, and found the same color at all three Targets I visited. In your photos they look like a light denim/powder blue...in the store they are called "blue" but the color is not consistent to what I KNOW as BLUE!!! LOL!!! Also, may I ask what kind of camera you use to take your photos??? They are beautiful!

Simply Me said...

Nikon cool pix L 100 ... I think it cost like $300 dollars.. not sure my husband bought it for me a few years ago. The blue is like a blue /gray if i had to say a color .. Thank you!!

Hi,
I am a fairly new follower of your blog and am loving it! Your design ideas are wonderful... I have a blog and was hoping to borrow some of your images for it. I have put together a page of about 5 images of your house and am pairing them with paintings that I've chosen. All of your images will be linked to your blog and credit given. Yours will be a page called Shabby Chic under the Art in Life Section. I hope you'll check it out and let me know! Thanks, Rosa

Hey... I went to TJ Maxx yesterday and they had tons of cute, feminine stuff and my daughter and I went to Marshall's today and they had cute stuff as well. I'm hoping to show some of it and finally update my blog next week but wanted to let you know.

Have a great weekend! Looking for chandelier prisms here at the flea market for my special project.
