Its been so cold here in Florida, high's today 55 maybe, this weather is not for a Florida girl, spent last night working on a painting, " dreaming of summer" is her name.
Growing up i spent all of my time at the beach, i grew up in a small town called Jupiter,Fl. My mom would drop me and my close friend off early in the morning and we would stay until night time fell. this was every weekend . I basically grew up on the beach, and thinking back i missed these days gone by.
As a little girl i use to paint all the time one of my favorite classes. always A's in Art other classes not to many A's . But i would love to get better. whenever i have spare time i need to practice or take classes.
Very beautiful...and of course there's that blue table...which is adorable!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful childhood! Love the painting and you know, practice makes perfect. I have grown in mine through the years and I think its something that just evolves over time...and from the soul and heart.
ReplyDeleteI will gladly take your cold 55! I can't even imagine 80 right now. WE are having a heat wave today and the wind chill is 20! Been below zero for way too long and I am so ready for spring and summer to happen.
Fabulous painting! Oh... I'm also dreaming of warmer weather... this cold and wind season does not treat this Brazilian right... :) Have a wonderful day! xo Vanessa

Tausha- We spent part of our kids' childhood in Palm Beach Gardens and had friends in Jupiter. My father-in-law lived in Hobe Sound. I miss Florida and the ocean. Beautiful painting. xo Diana

Your painting is lovely Tausha! I too am a warm weather gal. Although born in England and lived in Canada til I was 14, since then I've lived by the beach and feel SO very lucky for that:)
ReplyDeleteYou have such an artistic soul, dear friend. I love seeing the paintings you create! I can certainly see you selling them, girl! Yes, they are THAT good! ♥ I hope that it finally warms up for you down there. You all have been having a tough winter, too --- by Florida's standards! lol

Tausha, if your heart calls you to paint, just paint! Everything you touch is beautiful, regardless! :)
ReplyDeleteAndrea
I absolutely love these photographs. They should be framed and put on a living room wall.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is amazing, Tausha.
ReplyDeleteI've come here often to see what new ideas you've come up with to incorporate into your decorating style.
There are women in blogland that have tried to duplicate your look....and I must compliment you on being so gracious...even when someone claims one of your ideas as their own "vision".
You are an original.
We all love to use RA books for ideas, and of course many of us own as many of her linens as our shelves can hold! If I can find something affordable by RA, I buy it!!!
You have an eye for putting it all together. Your barn room is unique in so many ways. It amazes me how much talent you are blessed with!
Just wanted to finally leave a comment.
xo
Great looking table. I like the rough look, yet it looks simple and clean at the same time. We're getting that cold weather here in Texas too. Can't wait for it to warm up so I can paint some more shabby chic furniture!
ReplyDeleteYour blog is so wonderful <3
ReplyDeleteThank You!
