Oh how I wish you would post everyday. I check everyday, several times a day just to see if you've posted. My home several years ago was very much Rachel Ashwell inspired. I tried a new look and I've dug out all my 'old' Rachel Ashwell stuff. Pillows EVERYWHERE - never knew how much stuff I had.
ReplyDeleteI also have embarked on a ginormous painting project - painting my 15 foot vaulted wood panelled ceiling. What a breath of fresh air it is to have all my white frilly and Shabby Chic stuff moving back in! I'll be getting my husband to build me a shabby coffee table even though we recently bought a new one. Almost have acquired all the perfect rugs for my house. EVERYTHING in my house is going back to my beloved Shabby Chic for which I am known for.
I'd really like to see the other curtains you bought hung up like you did with the blue ones.
Love your blog - please post daily (hourly preferably, ha ha)- I miss you when you don't :)

P.S. Also, I have a very good portion of your photos (every room) on my pinterest board with a link to your blog - is that okay?

ReplyDeleteIts always beautiful over here. I went to Target last week to see the new bedding. It is lovely. Too girlie for all the boys in my cottage though. You are lucky your hubby doesn't mind...mine doesn't really either but my son's do and all of them have liked that I have weeded out the pretties and brought in more neutral coastal nordic decor. When I see your R.A layers I want to pull all of mine back out! ox

Oh please tell us what paint colors you used on that fabulous dresser! Any other help/info/tutorial would be great too. But if you don't have time to do that, then the color and brand would be so helpful!

ReplyDeleteI've seen the headboard you have in both your daughters room and yours. I think I've found the saem one but was wondering where yours is from and if you can remember the color. There are two white options, one velvet and the other a silk knock off. I really want it to be right:) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou have great taste in terms of clothes! And the blue chest of drawers is perfect - just love your style! I hope that once I manage to create a beautiful home like yours - you are my great admiration!Michaela
