I do not do a lot of decorating for Christmas time, just the tree and Stockings Really, I keep it very simply!! i would normally hang them from the Mantel, but Gabriel will pull everyone down and everything with it, so i will find a spot for them out of his reach,
most of my ornaments are vintage ones, besides what the little ones pick out. My 4 year old Sadi just wants to use the tree for a play space for her Dinosaurs and Dragons right now... Still working on decorating it its a work in process especially when you have a 21 month old who just wants to eat the lights that i had put on it, so we have no lights this year, or last year...lol
Cannot wait to see everyone's decorating for the Holidays!! Have a Great Weekend!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE your stalkings!!! Did you sew them yourself? Your house is absolutely delicious!!! Truly, you should design a book of your own!!! Thank you for sharing!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Tausha, I can remember when my daughter was a toddler and she kept pulling the Christmas tree over and on top of her so my husband nailed the tree stand to our hardwood floors! She's 31 now, and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Your pictures and style are gorgeous as always, I'm having a give away over at my blog if you care to check it out. Have a fabulous weekend from your friend in California, Marcia

Like the way you hung the ornmanents with fabric. I am new to your blog and u might have already said this but, how do you hand your curtains up like that? Are they from Target? Love your dining table, wood piece in foyer, and kitchen. Well, everything. You must be busy. I know what it is like with 4 kids.Donna
ReplyDeleteThe ones in the dinning area, i just push pin each side, then used safety pins on the sides... yes they are the ones from Target ! sheer white

ReplyDeleteEspecially the stockings, so pretty!
Pretty fancy stocking's i have to say, and i now noticed your from central Florida. I moved away from the Orlando area late last year, so living very close to an Amish community in Pennsylvania is quite a change for me. Richard from Amish Stories
ReplyDeleteYes that would be a BIG CHANGE...i'm from South Florida, and this area is a change for me..lol Thank you very much !
ReplyDeleteSeee....????? I told'ya that you need to publish your own book, Tausha! lol! Your Christmas decor is so sweet and simple and heartwearming. Just love it! :)

Do you mind me asking which curtains from Target? Did you hang them longways on the wide window? Is that wallpaper on the dining room wall and did u paint it? And what paint did u paint your floors with? I just started looking through your whole blog. i especially love the dining table(how long and wide is it?) and the blue piece in the foyer. Your house is amazing and so is your talent. Have a great evening. Donna
ReplyDeleteAre they the eyelet ones? Thanks. Donna
ReplyDeleteYou should open an Etsy store and sell some of your dreamcatchers and pillows and lampshades. Oh yeah, and some of that furniture your friend makes. That would be great.

I love the stocking on the left in the third picture! I have to have one exactly like that for my sweet baby girl. (Those happen to be the colors/style of her room.) Did you make it and if so where did you get your fabric and pattern? I can sew, I just need some direction. If you bought it, where? :) Thanks for your help. I just found your blog today and I LOVE IT! I have already pinned several of your pictures to my Pinterest boards.
