Wow! the red and pink really pop with the white, very dramatic and pretty... i'm loving your dining chairs and your chippy dining table too. were those chairs a vintage find?
Oh my gosh! This is BEAUTIFUL! May I come over for this party? :) I don't think I've ever seen a prettier table setting ~ I'm thrilled that I found your blog ~ sarah xo
This is beautiful!! How do you keep the kiddos from climbing onto the table and breaking stuff? Haha my 20-month old just discovered he can climb onto the table so now I can't keep anything pretty on it. And I loooove how great your pics turned out regardless of the gloomy weather :)
Love it all! So great with the different shades of pink. Any help where I can find a great chandie like yours in the pic? Looking for a smaller sized one with crystals.
so far my son cannot reach the table just yet and my 3 year old loves it she says how beautiful everything is,she loves flowers and seems to love everything i do, but it probably wont last..lol and she wants to have a party ..i set this up for my dinner tonight.
For Tarrah...so you have any local vintage shops? or check ebay.. this is a small one, but i love the glass, i paid a pretty good price for it too, considering the one in my living room if 4 1/2 feet and they cost about the same.
The table setting looks beautiful and I could imagine those who are having dinner there to sit and linger having wonderful conversations because it is so inviting. I have found many beautiful pitchers and platters at great prices because they have a crack or chip. I love to use mine too, it is no fun to just look at them if you can't use them too. My favorite is to fill them with peonies in the spring.
Pretty,pretty,pretty....I love the red and soft shades of pink. I have hinted to my guy that i love red but PINK is my fav. I cant coplain when the red roses keep coming though....I think I will have some pink carnations or mini pink roses on hand...to soften it up a bit.
The table setting is elegant..yet very inviting and speaks ease and comfort...not grand formality..I like that!
Hee Hee...I do not like RED very much either....I rarely if EVER wear it and I do very little decorating with it. I m not sure if my Super~guy...is gettintg the hint. I think he is stuck on red...is the symbol of love..OH WELL!
I'm sooo in love with your dining room! The table and chairs are just beautiful and I love the pic of the stack of pink dishes...it should be in a magazine!! Just wondering if you used something to raise the center of the table or is it just lots of fabric (it's gorgeous)? Simply love your eye and your beautiful home...thanks for sharing "Beautiful Settings". xx Debbie
I saw your blog few days ago, and I forgot to save the link :( I was looking for you and finally I found you again: I'm so happy!! :) I like Your blog so much Have a nice day Silvia
I couldn't help but look at your casual roman shades in the window. It looks light and lovely, and goes so well with your home. Of course the table is luscious, I love everything you have posted!
This is the 2nd post I have read on crockery today -- perhaps the universe is trying to tell me I need some. Crockery is meant to be used and with using comes chipping -- I know I have my fare share and like you can't bare to part with them....lovely vintage today x
Thanks for your sweet comment, i´m glad you did that comment.. so I got the chance to stop by...I love your blog, what a beautiful romantic home you have...love your pictures to..
