To Heather at Chaotic Beauty Photography

i love fashion!   i don't think i have fashion ,  so thank you for that Heather. As far as jeans go i  will buy a good pair of jeans, so far if you like the vintage tear look, i bought 2 pairs from Abercrombie they were regular $98 dollars got on sale for $40 so that's not so bad for something i wear everyday.  i do have my fat jeans, and skinny jeans. i have had 4 kids, so i have been every size....lol   as far as tops i love going to forever 21 and Zara, Urban Outfitters or i will go to Marshall's and TJ maxx you can find awesome clothing there, if you have those stores where you live, i live in Florida. Forever 21 all lacy stuff. I love to layer my clothing. My favorite store to look at online Free People Clothing Online.. they had a very small line of there clothes in Macy's. I get all my ideas from them. they are really expensive. But they do have clearance !!!!! Yeah !!!  i love boots!! I have my favorite pair from the flea market $10 buck they already worn in and comfy they look like they are 25 years old. Also like Nine west boots . Mostly live in leather flip flops. The little dress i posted hanging on my mirror with the shoes, i bought for $15 at TJ maxx, i wear it with jeans or skirts , the layered look. Mostly live in jeans and pretty blouses, with lacy tops that is the most comfortably to me .  I'm a Florida girl, so its mostly hot all the time.  I will post some of my favorite clothes for you soon, my uploading is not working properly right now. But i Love this post, i get to talk about all the girly stuff with girls, and not my husband, or my 15 year old daughter who thinks i have no style at all.  I want to thank you Heather so much for that comment..........Love your Photos

  1. Thank you so much for your sweet comments about my photos AND for doing this amazing post about your fashion. I need to make a list of things to keep my eyes out for. I just did a post about the flea market on my other blog matternfamily.com. I hope to find some yummy treasures like those boots :)

  3. Hi I just read that you live in Florida. I, too, live in Florida (central) and we just moved into a brand new house. I was wondering how do you keep your patio furniture so nice and pretty during the rainy season? My husband wants to look for outdoor furniture and I'm totally inspired by your decorating ideas, but since it rains so much here do you have specific weatherproof furniture? Like those pillows you have in the picture on the chairs...are they okay in the humidity/rain? Just curious because I would love to get a patio set just like that. I love the mismatched chairs & cushions. I just don't know how high-maintenance they would be. Thanks!

  4. It was fun to read this post and learn a little more about you. I adore feminine lacy tops and love to layer as well. Lace and comfort is kind of my thing these days. I've been on the lookout for a great pair of boots but no luck yet. I wear a size 5 in a shoe and they seem harder to come by.

  5. To Josie, OMG someone who lives by me ..ok let me tell you , my husband said we need to have weather proof outdoor furntiure, so we bought the weaterproof plasic wicker,i wanted real wicker, but he insisted no weather proof. So we did, then i didnt like it anymore not comfortable , so what i did i have a large white wood table with white wooden chairs, they are real wood with slipcovered cushions on them, i keep the cushions inside and the table and chairs stay out there i dont mind the rain, i like the wear and tear look on the wooden table, its shabby!!! The other chair is just one of my inside chairs i just put out there for photo. on a beautiful day you can do that.. I tried going to your blog but my internet is working i will stop by there tomorrow, thank you for your comment. I see you have a little boy , so cute how old is he ? I have a 10 month old boy.

  6. I think my son Jason was about 10 months when that profile pic was taken. He's now 20 months...wow, I NOW just realized how fast 10 months flew by! Thank you for your response! My husband originally wanted dark plastic wicker furniture but I showed him your patio pic and his first response was, "Yea but we get too much rain." I was soo excited to tell him, "Well this chick lives in FL too so we'll be fine!" I think I've changed his mind :) We'll see! Anyways, I love your blog and I have to admit I've recently been looking at your pictures more often than the ones in Rachel Ashwell's book (and I'm NOT ashamed!) It just makes a huge difference knowing that someone in Florida can have such a beautiful home, and that I can have that too. Have a gorgeous sunny weekend!
