I have been working on Rearranging some sofas....here are a few photos of my home today, i did not prepare for the photos, just took them, so a little messy here and there.

Went to big flea market early this morning and bought a few more goodies, then spent the rest of my day just relaxing at home with family. Everywhere you look in my home you will see something thrown somewhere my chair is covered with blankets and pillows. I did not except to take photos today , but just wanted to share some photos, i love to see homes in there natural environment. So here they are ..
Have a great week !!

  5. I love your style your home, but when you always say things aren't organized or that that is the way things always look, seems not true to me. Please don't get me wrong, but if that were the case there would be toys or other items that don't go with the decor.

Would you mind sharing with us where you got your white sofa at? It's beautiful! Does the slipcover wash nicely?

    Thanks!

  31. I have to see if i still have the email, of when i purchased it i bought it 5 years ago approx online store and forgot, but no it does not wash easy, so i would not recommend it i have washed it several times to make it more soft, and it is now, but still hard to get the slipcover on it. I so badly want to have it redone with Muslin fabric ...i will wait until the kids are a little older. but i will check to see if i can find the store i bought it from . Thanks for asking

  34. Once again, you've outdone yourself. You have a very creative eye for things. I move furniture and assessories around all the time and I'm much older than you. It's in our D&A I think. I'm happy as long as my home surroundings are beautiful and easy to live with. Most of my furniture is slipcovered too. Love your white sectional. Just wondering if you got your brown leather sofa at RA? Have a great day.

  35. AW thank you so much!! The brown leather one is from RestorationHardware..

  42. OMG....So funny how some people have nothing good to say and it's anonymous.LOL.No back bone I guess also their Mother clearly never told them that when you don't have nothing good to say then say nothing at all!Anyhow I used to have a coffee table almost like that.I loved it! However it's gone now, :( wish I still had it.

  43. Thank you everyone so much !!! This is not a job for me and I'm not selling anything, so i have nothing to prove to anyone... I do this everyday of my life , moving stuff around and making things pretty for me in my home. Things are never perfect , I'm not even a photographer , i just enjoy what i do.. I'm so glad everyone is so supportive and there are so many nice people out there. I clean all day and all night. So when my house is clean i love to take photos. Normally i can take photos when my little one is taking a nap so its a little easier for me, and cleaner. I have always been the type of person to never have a dirty house. So i will not let one little me anonymous person bring me down ..who means nothing to me ... thank you everyone so much !!! too many other things in my life that mean more to me.

  45. Hello! I was given your blog link by a friend of mine who swears you are my 'spiritual design twin'...lol!! She has been telling me for YEARS to start a blog about the things I do around my house. Your house is right out of a Shabby Chic magazine. You should be VERY proud of yourself! You should also think about submitting your blog to Rachel for consideration of photographing vignettes for her. REALLY, I am serious! Really great photography! ANYWAYS..... I have babbled long enough... Haha! I just wanted to introduce myself (Deanna), and say hi to my sista.... :)

What color r your walls in the living room. You should post your home on Rate my space on HGTV and be the next designer star. Girl you have it.

  48. Wow Tausha..Im so sorry that "anonymous" is being so rude and critical of your photos..just shows they are unhappy with themselves and wish they could have your beautiful home and style my friend~ take it as a compliment! Jealous people can try to bring you down..but I know you wont let them! Keep being true to yourself and your style~ xoxo Rachel

  50. Tausha,

It's funny, I have a list of blogs that are on my favorites list(your's being one)I don't know these people. I feel as if I do though! I get so inspired by you and the other blogs I look at. I get excited by every new post. Obviously, the Anonymous poster was looking at your pictures and is clearly jealous(so am I!) So, take it as a compliment, they prob. have toys strewn all over their house! Keep up the posts, your awesome!

  52. Your vignettes make me smile. :) They make me feel like ploppin down in the comfiest chair or bed full of ruffles and white eyelet and splashes of pink roses. They are all the things I love to have around me.They are candy to the eye. Thank you.

  53. Your home is gorgeous, Tausha and you have such a way with photography and decorating. Simply beautiful! Your home is cozy and comfortable looking. I love the basket next to the sofa with the pretty chunky knit throw and the umbrellas.

  54. I love the look of your room, loved the leather as well but this couch just looks so cozy. Your rosarie and your new pillow are beautiful. I have had my eye on the union jack and love the fall that is on the site with greys. Your pictures are beautiful as usual, your home in a natural state speaks comfort and cleanliness! Have a wonderful day!
Rachel's Praire Store is having a grand opening this month and I am so tempted to make the drive for her new book signing.........
I just caught the post that was well not so nice, it is like the old saying if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all, why stalk someone's blog just to say something ugly it just speaks jealousy to me.....there are more things to do in one's day than to follow blogs to make rude comments.......would that person be happier if you trashed your house and took pictures, have a big party and leave everything for days and take pictures????????LOL keep doing what you do! You are doing it for free and inspiring many such a shame someone took the energy to be negative!! But you get to be you! Hugs

  58. I really do enjoy your photos. As far as Anonymous....what difference does it make if you moved a teacup into the photo....really! Do any of us bloggers take photos of our house when it is a mess. I can do a great photo of my living room, all pretty and slightly staged, and to the blog world it looks like I live like that, yet behind me is all the crap that I move out of the way for the photo.. Anonymous needs to get stuffed.

Don't take it personally, you home is very lovely and I always enjoy your new posts.
