Random photo's ....also where i keep my Television .....

yes i still hand wash my dishes!!  I have no nails.. this is where i cut all my flowers and put in the places
OK.. this picture is for Victoria from Slightly Shabby..she wanted to see where i put my TV Well here it is, this is a picture that i would not post because I'm not a TV person, more of a Music Person. but i'm always curious where people keep there TV's  too.

    I love your chest that your TV is over does it open or is it the back side you have facing out. It's amazing...We also have our TV mounted on the wall but its over the fireplace. Not my first choice, but hubby wanted it there so, you know sometimes you just have to give in..LOL

    LOVE your pictures!! Your tv looks great on its place..I have hidden ours in the large white shutter closet.. love the flowers... They are so inspiring to me.. we have a similar taste.. I just showed my husband where you put your beautiful dresses..and he looked at e like o oo she is has some new ideas :-) Where do you keep all the toys?

    I admire you for washing your dishes by hand. Our dishwasher broke last year, so I handwashed for 6 mos. I loved it at first and do believe I will return to handwashing when it is just me and hubby. But with four teenage children and their friends it was a huge chore...unending really. Your mismatched white dishes are so pretty, and roses everywhere, and I love how you have white ruffles strewn all over. Are your white wood floors hard to keep clean?

    Yes i know...hand washing is not for everyone..i do have a dishwasher, but just cannot get use to using it .i have tried a few times and it just seems like more work, plus i like to wash dry and put any asap! I do not have a lot of dishes, only what i need. Sometimes i just feel it was more work to put in dish washer...lol my friends think I'm crazing, but i get that from my mother. She was a clean Freak and so I'm I.. My floors are very easy, the only problem area would be the kitchen the most !

    These are beautiful...I love seeing your rooms from different angles. It just seems so calm and cozy in your home.
    It looks like you figured out the never ending saga of the ugly tv! :) Yours looks like it fits right in...I wish mine had a white border.

    wow a white tv too? amazing! but really, where are all the kids stuff laying around? Are you like us that when you take a picture their things are piled up in the corner behind you? Its too pretty!

    I too wash dishes by hand and I do not have a dishwasher. Never wanted one and never will. I wash, dry and put away asap and it works for me. That is one thing I have never minded doing as a chore. Now dusting...no thank you! lol

    Oh thank you thank you Tausha for the t.v. photo! You manage to make it look beautiful! If I had my way our t.v.'s would be hidden away but with these big flat screens now it's getting difficult so we have ours out also.

    I also hand wash our dishes, mainly because our dishwasher is ancient and probably doesn't even work. Your home is so gorgeous! I swoon every time I visit your blog:)

    funny, i just had this conversation with my girlfriend yesterday. i hand wash all my dishes before putting them into the dishwasher. My fiance does not understand this at all!

    Hi...I love your home...we have a dishwasher but because we use vintage a lot..I wash by hand! Friends always wonder after a dinner party how long it takes?...not that long at all...!
    Where did you get the tv?..I have never seen one in white...or did you paint the edge???

    I did dishes by hand for 7 years when my kids were small. And I still handwash my Christmas dishes so it's no problem. I look forward to your posts everyday and look forward to seeing the rest of your house, picture by picture!

    Ooo I completely agree, I hate our dishwasher and find it faster and more effective to use my hands.
    Cuts back on a ton of water usage as well as heating bills.
    Love your look and I just don't know how you keep it so fresh and white with children and pets around

    Ok first of all I have to tell you I wash my dishes too. Ok I am addicted to Mrs meyers you must try het dish soap & floor soap. r u famliar with her products...love...love everything. I hate looking at big tvs too. I inherited this big monster tv & am ready to slip covet the dang thing...lol. hahave a great week shabby lady.Xo

    The tv issue is a tough one, I have all white and a black tv. I looked everywhere for a white tv - do you have one? I even tried to buy an apple computer screen - no go!

    Hi Cathy, I do have the jersey duvet in white, they did have light gray as well.. I have only seen one time in a regular target, not super target I put them on my little boys bed....so soft. They even had the sheets. But so far i have not seen them on line or in any other Target. You can email me at shabbychicgirls@gmail.com

    Hey, we have a white TV (only in our bedroom, not the other one). My husband found it on Amazon if you're ever looking for another TV for a different room. And it wasn't thousands (or even close ;)
    You're so lucky you have a friend build something so wonderful for you.

    We hand wash everything here too. No dishwasher in our small kitchen. When there's a mess, it gets cleaned up right away. Don't you just love to cut flowers in the sink? It's like therapy for me, I love it!

    I just want to lounge all day on that sofa watching films, drinking tea and eating biscuits. I don't think I would ever move away from it, it looks so comfy. Love the white TV, a great idea.

    Your photographs and interior design techniques are amazing. The best I have come across in blog land (and believe me I look). If you don't do this for a living you should.
