i have been taking time for me !!! just enjoying my life and family.. i needed that.. i have made a few changes with the home here are some photos ... i moved the mantel and my white sofa to the my area, while the living room has the leather sofa , the children have taken over the LIVING ROOM for REAL!!

i did not plan to take any photos today, so this explains the desk/table for looking like its natural environment.. my chairs finally received there slipcovers... i love the new wooden chairs so much !!! .

some beautiful boxes with simple ribbon, and my husband SURPRISED me with new chairs.... still waiting on the cushions...they will be white linen ones with ties... These chairs were on sale for $99 bucks at Restoration hardware, he bought them on Black Friday ....yeah!!! i love them

i purchased the boxes and fabric from ebay, they are from Rachel Ashwell's store too. The oil painting i also found on Ebay,

as you can my tree is a little bare...i have lost some ornaments, Thanks to Gabriel taking the Broom Stick to the tree a few times....lol hopefully next year i will be able with to better !!! Hope everyone has a Wonderful Christmas!!!

I do not do a lot of decorating for Christmas time, just the tree and Stockings Really, I keep it very simply!! i would normally hang them from the Mantel, but Gabriel will pull everyone down and everything with it, so i will find a spot for them out of his reach,

most of my ornaments are vintage ones, besides what the little ones pick out. My 4 year old Sadi just wants to use the tree for a play space for her Dinosaurs and Dragons right now... Still working on decorating it its a work in process especially when you have a 21 month old who just wants to eat the lights that i had put on it, so we have no lights this year, or last year...lol

Cannot wait to see everyone's decorating for the Holidays!! Have a Great Weekend!!

Sorry i take so many photos, you guys are probably sick of them by now ....but i have not been able to relax lately. Fall has arrived , and really it is not my favorite time of year.. I love Summer time and December are my favorite times of year. I think it is a Florida Thing.

This room is still a work in progress, i have to keep the sofa against the wall so my son does not fly out the windows...both kids run along the top of the sofa daily...drives me crazy!! i love the look of the down blanket on the sofa...really cozy!!

So my daughter is 15 years old and has took sewing class for 2 years now, i bought a sewing machine, and she has taught me how to make pillows. I made 5 so far using the Simply Shabby Chic Duvet Fabric. I made 4 in blue and one white ...They are euro pillows which i cannot get enough of pillows. I also made a throw with the fabric, or wanna be tablecloth..since i cannot afford the Rachel Ashwell one..lol I had to try. Nothing is perfect still have some learning to do, but works for me

This is a close up of my daughters Dreamcatcher, that i made. My inspiration came from Rachel Ashwell, she now has on her website for sale . I bought the one in my bedroom for $110 Dollars and i love it!! So i made one for my little girl and boy, I looked on tube How to make one, you can follow instructions, very easy, just tear the fabric you want to use. I bought mine from the manufacturer. Now Rachel Ashwell is selling them on her online store. I will be very busy for the next couple of weeks preparing for Fifi, shes coming to shoot my home!!! how exciting .... Have a great day !!!

i must say, i was so nervous at first, to add the wood floors in oak wood, but after two days of putting things together i do like, i wanted to add a little contrast ....to my all white world.. I Do love my white floors so much, i did keep them in them in my bedroom.. i am having work done in my home so i had to move a furniture around for a little while, so i had the chance to take some photos that normally would not be taken. here is my dinning table in the living room, i like!!. sometimes i wish i had one open large room for a house i have always dreamed of having a huge loft where everything is in one room. The way my home is now, is kinda like that... every room is is combined .

something about a table with no chairs that i just love to see, i have always wanted the Rachel Ashwell Petitcoat tablecloth but i cannot afford it, so i tried to get the LOOK!! so basically Simply Shabby Chic ! i use my linens everyday for all reasons, i feel nothing is to precious you cannot wash !! Who cares about a little stain, adds character ..

this is funny, look what i use to dry my large comforters, also i posted about this blanket before, and i left it out in the sun for a few days, and a few washing, and now look how Beautiful ...Faded away blues and pinks.

Beautiful new bedding for the guest bed, I love having options.. the very first thing i do when i buy new linens are wash them, then over dry them using several dryer sheets, to make really soft ..

a beautiful new scarf from a dear sweet friend Tracie, i love this scarf and knew exactly where it was going to go.

my daughter bought me new feathered earrings for mothers day , and my husband bought me the pillow and the new linens..

in this picture the Rug is an old Prayer Rug, it is badly torn, and faded..Perfect for me!!

there is a large window in between that over looks the pool...i keep my clothes rack between the two book cases... Its like shopping in a store, something about the feeling of linens all piled up ....yummy!!!

Since blogging i have meet so many nice people... a very sweet and kind lady name Karen http://suebees-karensue.blogspot.com/ she invited me to her shop in central Florida Art Angles mall and market it was so beautiful, plenty of antiques and you can even buy Flowers there...i was in heaven!!!

Beautiful old Ralph Lauren sheet set..this is why i love having beds in my living room, i love buying sheets, i use them for all sorts of things, like tablecloths and so ,and pillows used every where, i use everything i have and i pretty much use everything i have everywhere as you can tell. There is nothing i purchase that is just for show.

So many people have ask me about this bedding, it is Simply Shabby Chic...they have in white or light gray soft jersey !! I have only seen at one Target so far, i have not seen online yet...i thought would be so cute for his room. I bought it at a Target, not super Target maybe that's why I don't know... the bed is out of my two lounge chairs, just pushed together the duvet cover bleached white with the shams as well ...was the oatmeal color...i'm so happy i bleached them...just love it !!

this was a very cozy night by the pool...we live on 4 acres so lots of privacy..woods surround us,and the deer walk around in our backyard...

Here are some new items i purchased on Saturday, Two Rachel pillows, really it was one,the white one came inside of the pink one ..not from target for the first time. A Shabby Chic Interiors Writing Set, and two flower vases, just beautiful .... My Flowers i purchased from my favorite place in Lake Worth,fl they sell all there flowers in buckets,and i paid $7.99 for each pack, and you get a big bunch!! i bought 3 bunches. they soon will be put all around the home. That is my favorite thing to do, put flowers every where.

I will tell everyone where i purchased and have more photos for you soon.....tomorrow!!!!! p.S I hope everyone found there ruffled shabby chic pink pillows, i do have the UPC code if needed..... I found them and grabbed them like a crazy person, since then i have not yet to find them at any other Target. They are so soft, and beautiful....love them..

we had some left over wood from last summer sitting by our barn, and i kept asking my husband please you can make me a table, so finally he did...then i get to paint !!! Now on the look out for little chairs, i do have a white bench a may use ... or this table could be a great serving table. We are out here all the time. One of my favorite tiles, Mexican tile ...my husband too, if he had it his way our whole house would be in mexican tile,

i may have to beat up the table a little more ...lol it sits opposite to the white table i have out here

I went shopping today and i wanted to show you a few of my finds..

old door with the perfect colors blues and yellows , rose candle holder, white vintage lace pillow and old grain sack for a pillow also the fabric hanging, love the colors and it is so soft... it was a good day . I will soon have a place for them and will have photos soon. Yesterday was horrible here with the weather tornadoes, so i just cleaned all day and relaxed.. I hope you all have a Great Weekend!!!

this chair was in my garage for a long time . it was a green sage slipcovered chair. I did not like the color but the chair was so cozy, so i put some fabric over it, and tied bows all around the bottom for a Shabby chic look.

i do not have a large house this is a small corner in my bonus room upstairs.So i wanted to make a small space for overnight guest. I finally found a use for my gray duvet . On the floor our some Simply Shabby chic towels that are light gray,and a bowl of kisses. Of course flowers!! no picture to me is complete without .flowers.

tomorrow i will show you the other side...........its storming here bad...I have no light for good photos,plus this room only has one little window.

i was tired of putting sheets and blankets over my kitchen table..everyday so the could have a tent. Who else but me... would make a Shabby chic tent....LOL

i made this with 7 pieces of wood, canvas and of course RA duvet cover,just threw it over the tent.

just love this sofa! very durable, great for kids and dogs! somehow i can never find the right throw pillows, i love the comfort of my bed pillows...so soft and comfortably to me and just the right size. I love to curl up and get cozy here with all my babies...i'm not in love with the mantel ,but it will do for now.
